Invisible Children Inc.

Just today we learned about mass communication. The power of spreading words to public. My friend shared this link on Facebook and I spent 29 minutes on this video. It is shocking and I found out the real power of mass commutation. I know if you spread a word in wrong way it will be disastrous but if you spread in a good way this is what will happen.
Have you guys heard of Invisible Children Inc? Do you know who is Joseph Kony? Do you know what is L.R.A? I found out what are all of these just today. If you see the movie you will find out what it is and what is happening on the side where you cannot imagine it is happening.

From the video many things went through my mind; start from how lucky am I to live in part of world that don't have to fear about getting kidnap, don't have to worry about dying and don't have to be afraid that something bad things going to happen to me. I worry failing classes, finding jobs, how much money should I make, while on the other side of the world kids are worrying about how they are going to live tomorrow.

    This video got so popular in a few days! Now, this kind of act almost always get attacked in some way after it became popular. CNN news had some arguments about the financial use of this group. What is right? What is true?
    The video was just very effective.
    The video cathces so much attention from many people.

    Interesting, just found about this today. I don't bother catching up with all the latest things in the world. I don't have time for it. However, reading your post had me reexamine my principles. I always said to myself that I would do good deeds for others and that I'll help people when they need it. But with college, finding a job, and other activities, I simply don't have time to devote myself to helping others. Sometimes I worry about myself more than others. I think in today's world we became more closed off to ourselves and to people we're familiar with. I fall into that generalization as well.

    But as for the Kony issue, like there hasn't been cases of children soldiers already or kidnappings in many parts of Africa. Still civil wars and whatnot happening over. It's amazing how technology and mass communication (videos, blogs) can bring such an impact onto an isolated issue.
